American apparel zip hoodys...?

now i buy a lot from this brand but am clueless on the zip hoodys as they have not been something i have been too interested in until now. i would like to buy one of the uni fleece zip hoodys, does anybody know if i were to buy a size or so bigger than i am if it would just be wider in size or longer in length also? TIA for serious replies
