Why do I keep experiencing conversation roadblocks esp. with women?

Guttering problem, too much water - overflowing?

Somebody messed yo up, you can't have enough downspouts, sounds like they shorted you about 5 of them, and the spot where the water hits the gutter should have an overflow shield on it and it should never back up into the roof. So, you can't stop it temp, you have to fix it or take it down. You need a bigger gutter, rain stop, and big down spouts.Gutters, you only notice them when it rains and they backup and don't work and fill with leaves. I will never use them again.

ually insecure, but why, EXACTLY?

when i was a little girl my siblings and i were molested by a man who lived in our parents' barn. i remember being afraid to tell, but not afraid of him specifically. he offered us frozen berries or something [when i was a child my parents forbade candies and meat products so anything sweet and not normally provided was extremely appealing] and told us that if we ever told our parents he's hurt us really badly, never adding a word after that. one of the middle children, my sister, eventually told on him and he was sent to prison/jail, i'm not sure which i was too young to differentiate between the two. i was just happy that the creep man who shared the same name as my father had moved out of the barn. my family was really hippie grounded so nudity was the norm until i was about 9 or 10. i remember during middle school when all the girls were talking about making out with boys and hand-jobs and all that other business. i was nervous and rather appreciated my boyfriend who was older, better looking, and obviously more respectful than the boys my friends were hanging out with. he only tried to advance on me once and i made it clear that i was not ready, he understood and stayed around even though all i was comfortable with was spending time together and the occasional shy peck on the cheek or lips. by the time high school came my girlfriends were practically taunting me for the fact that i still had not "made-out" [which i soon found is not much to my liking anyway] with a boy. i went through maybe 4 boyfriends collectively throughout middle/high school. the first two during middle school, the second of which was very physically abusive and didn't last long. my first boyfriend in high school i kissed a few times and was really infatuated with for a little over a year. the second, he was my best friend for a year before anything happened and our lives sort of fell apart at the same time almost throwing us into each others arms, so we sort of just happened. i ended up sleeping with him rather quickly..too quickly i realized a year later. i was comfortable with him though, ually at least. i didn't feel threatened, and i didn't feel like uality was the center of our relationship, more like a very distant aspect of it. i've always been uncomfortable performance wise with anything, i don't usually like to try doing new things because i'm afraid of failing and whatnot. but since we broke up, it's been a year and 2 months now, i haven't been comfortable nor wanting nearly as much. i know my boyfriend has alot more experience than i do because of our age difference so i think that has a little to do with it also. my current boyfriend who i've been with for 6 months now, i suspect he is a addict. it's a major clash with my insecurity. it's like i'll be feeling fine, and then he'll say something in the middle and i'll get so insecure about it i damn near start crying. i don't understand it..

Is enjoying trance music really ociated with a high IQ?

Well, I saw it on urbandictionary.com, so I don't know if it's true. I also searched it, but I didn't really find anything. I read somewhere that people with a high IQ can be hypnotized more easily than people with just average IQ's. I'm thinking that maybe if that is true, the trance music has a different effect on higher IQed people, such as literally going into a trance, or getting into the music. Don't just automatically say that your interests have nothing to do with your IQ, unless you know that for sure.

What's the correct way to wield a Longsword?

I've been practicing with Katanas for many years, and I've never had any problems cutting with them. However, I've recently purchased a European style Longsword, and I tested it on some water bottles, and it only baseball batted them across the yard. It's a functional carbon steel longsword, and I sharpened it myself and I'm pretty sure it's sufficiently sharpened. Perhaps these people are also impressed by Hillary's determination. Being a woman, is not that easy when you are running with all the odds against you. I think there is a lot of admiration for her as well. At the end of the day, everyone knows, both candidates are pretty much the same. But in these difficult battle to win the nomination, Hillary has displayed qualities of a very strong woman who will not crumble under pressure. I was going to open up a CRT monitor. However, the I learned of the Anode Cap (The one that goes BOOM! if you touch it). So to discharge it, someone told me to connect one end of an alligator clip to the metal part of an insulated screwdriver, and then connect the other end to the monitor casing, which is made of metal. Then I should slip the end of the screwdriver under the anode. If I do this, and touch the casing, will it shock me? Also, please share any other ways you have to discharge an anode. I think im really depressed...what do i do?

okay, so i play guildwars on my computer, it only requires 512mb of ram i believe and that is what i have installed, believe me it runs very slow, often freezes up, so on our laptop we have a 1.60ghz amd processor with 1gb of ram and a fast dsl connection, on my desktop i have a bit better processor, 1.82ghz processor and a 512mb stick of ram, i can upgrade to 3gb and on our laptop the game runs pretty much perfect, very little lag if any at all, but on the desktop like i said its terrible, so i came to the conclusion its the ram because i have a 256mb ati radeon x1300 pro agp video card, brand new, figured that would fix it but it just gave me amazing graphics, didnt speed up nothing but fps, so should i upgrade to 1gb of ram memorie to fix the lag problem?

Stray dog and vaccination fear!?

I don't know any dog that likes the vet. My dogs all excited they get in the waiting room all cool but that other door opens up the want out I have big dogs. My old time vet puts them all up on the table he needs help some times but it is a control thing. Great Danes on the table ha. but it works. He is in control. So pick her up dosen't matter what she likes. you are in control and sometimes she wont like it. The leash issues take your time don't drag her. Your doing great earning her trust and confidence. I would leave a collar on her so she gets use to it. Also helps you have something to grabb if you have too. When you try to put a harness on her you have to go over the head she probalbly doesnt like that. Most abused dogs panic over the head motions. They were hit everything bad comes over there head. I would try just using the colar for a while and see how that goes. Petting her from under her chin should have her more relaxed. Great work, you are a very speacial human.

This could be a clock spring issue or it could be a pre-tentioner which is the part of the seat belt attached to the seat. Also there are electrical connectors under each of the front seats and sometimes objects that you have in the back seats get pushed under the front seats and cause problems with these connectors. It could also be a bad ground wire. Your best bet is to insure that there is nothing under the front seats. Then if you are still having this problem take it to a Jeep dealership for diagnosis. Remember that just because the air bag light is on does not mean that it will not discharge it just means that you do not know if or when it will.

A family who lives down the street from my home,has several cats. One of the cats named Morris, always hangs around my house. It's like he wants to live with me and my family because one time my mom put some food out for the poor thing and showed him some affection. Problem is my cat does not like him and got into a bad fight with him one time. Another problem is I am already trying to take care of 2 cats who belonged to a lady who lived down the street from me. She just moved out and left her cats. Me and my mom took pity on them and took them in. Am I going through perimenopause or menopause?

I am 35 and had my tubes tied a little over three years ago. Ever since then my periods have been heavier and longer and my mood swings are horrible for two weeks out of the month. How painfull is it to give natural child birth?

OUCH OUCH OUCH, yes it really really hurts but on the upside once the baby is born the pain is pretty much over. A few (or a lot in my case) painful hours and its all over. However a c-section may not be painful while the baby is coming out but the recovery period after lasts many many weeks. Having had two natural births and not had a c-section it is hard to comment but I would say a few hours of pain is a lot better than weeks of pain in the long run. There are exercises you can do to help with the pee problem after the baby is born. Good luck with whatever you decide.

My friend has been taking norco 10/325 for the past 6-8 weeks. She recently confided that she is taking about 2-3 pills at a time, 4-5 times a day. That's 3900 mg of acetaminophen a day, plus she told me that she supplements with regular pain reliever. I asked her what it is, she said acetaminophen. She thought they were 200 mg tablets, but it turns out they are 500 mg tablets. She takes 2 of those at least 3 times a day. So now she's ingesting somewhere around 6000 mg per day, if not more. yup... Your in the dreaded two week wait... it sucks bu theres really nothing you can do to find out until the earliest the 16th but based on your dates you should get a positive by the 19th... I went through about 6 boxes of prego tests in a month because its like addicting to pee on a stick.... don't waste your money like I did..stick it out till at least the 16th than go buy a three pack of tests..in the mean time.. double up on folic acid, get some flinstones vitamins with iron and maybe start a low dose asprin regime... you can read about that asprin thing online..its common when ttc to use asprin to help the uterine lining. Start eating healthy now just in case...

Why aren't they reviving Halo 3?

Bungie probably couldn't think of a new game, because they ended Halo 3 soo perfectly. The flood was destroyed, the covenant was defeated, the Halo rings were destroyed, and there was peace between the humans and Elites. What else could they do? So they thought it would be cool to have you play in a group of spartans, so they had to make it before Halo 1 because in Halo 1 Master Chief was the only spartan left, which means there would be no other spartan but him. Many people don't think it lines up with the story at all, but at the last level you bring Cortana to the Pillar of Autum(idk how to spell it and idc) then you protect it while it takes off, and durring one of the end cut-scenes you can see the master chief on the Pillar of Autum. They put it on planet Reach so it would make sence because some people argue that "why do they have more advanced weapons in Halo Reach than Halo 3 if Halo Reach was far before Halo 3?" but planet Reach was a weapons and supply making planet, so Noble Team had the ability to use new prototypes that were only on planet Reach, and not available to anyone else after the planet got gled. Also in every game since Halo 2 somewhere in the campain people had mentioned something about planet Reach, like in Halo ODST where many people had said "oh no! this is gonna be like Reach all over again!" which would make sense because many of the ODST's in Halo ODST were on planet Reach when it was getting taken over and gled. Like I was saying before though, didn't make Halo 4 probably because there was no way to make a new story, but I think Microsoft will find a way(they bought the contract of the rights to make halo games) and Halo 3 set it up so they could so all they need to do it take it from there.

I've been thinking that I may be pregnant. My last period was way off and I'm not sure if it was a period at all. I've been really tired all the time and my are swollen (they don't hurt tho).
