Are there people out there who are above the law?

Catharsis, rich people are smart and talented? How do you explain George W Bush and Paris Hilton? I guess white people are really smart, and all other races of the world must be really dumb then. C'mon, the most ruthless and their decedents become rich. To become rich and to be above the law require characters who are nefarious, willing to cheat and steal, exploit and use, lie and deceive, and in more extreme cases kill and imprison. Same as it ever was.
