How painfull is it to give natural child birth?

OUCH OUCH OUCH, yes it really really hurts but on the upside once the baby is born the pain is pretty much over. A few (or a lot in my case) painful hours and its all over. However a c-section may not be painful while the baby is coming out but the recovery period after lasts many many weeks. Having had two natural births and not had a c-section it is hard to comment but I would say a few hours of pain is a lot better than weeks of pain in the long run. There are exercises you can do to help with the pee problem after the baby is born. Good luck with whatever you decide.
