My Advent 5711 built in webcam stopped working?

I've had my new laptop about a month and my webcam has worked fine using it for msn and skype videochats to my family in America, but suddenly it stopped working and the blue light at the top of my screen wont turn on. Pressing FN + F11 doesn't do anything and I've tried to download a driver but nothing seems to be working. Can anybody help me please?
