Was Nazi the only ruthless empire that existed? what about British?

I would say that when it comes to the systematic oppression of people whether it is what the Nazi's did or the British... is wrong. There are no shades of gray when it comes to oppression. I would go as far to say that what th US is doing in the middle east, and all over the world through neo colonialism falls under the same category.
