Is it okay to be truthful or should I just keep it to myself?

Go ahead and talk to him. Don't keep it to yourself, or you'll regret it forever! He's interested and wants you to show that you are too. Don't worry about the age, but just make sure you dont do anything you're uncomfortable with. If you tell him you like him, you'll feel great! You know what he'll answer. ;)
